Photo competition - The odder, the better!
By Cornelia KaufmannWanderlust magazine is teaming up with renowned Bradt Guides to create a “Weird World” photo book. Travellers everywhere are invited to send in their photos of odd things they encountered along the way. You don’t have to be a professional to enter this competition – the content of the picture is what matters most.
The categories are as follows:
- Food/Drink/Shopping
- Art & Architecture
- Transport
- Natural world (Plants, animals, landscapes)
- Signs & menus
- Just plain odd
So look through your holiday pictures or grab your camera and be as trigger-happy as you want to be! As a thank you for your effort, you will enter a prize draw. Everyone who’s photo gets published will get a free copy of the book (due out in autumn 2009) and the chance to win a photography weekend with Travellers’ Tales.
To enter, send your digital pictures in the largest format (up to 10MB per email) to: weirdworld@wanderlust.co.uk . You will also need to send a caption sheet including a brief description why the picture is unusual (up to 50 words each), your name & address as well as where the photo was taken.

Good luck!
