I'm leaving England tomorrow!
I just wrote my Tourism Planning exam and now I'm busy packing my bags, running the last few errands and trying to make my room look kinda decent as I won't be in it for the next 5 months and don't want to return to the site of a bomb blast by the looks of it.

In a way, I can't wait to go home. I haven't been home since Christmas and I miss my friends. Sometimes I miss speaking German, having a TV and having my own flat all to myself! There is a chance that I can do work experience for 3 months at my local newspaper. But I don't really want to leave, because I'll be lonely in Germany. I know we're having a long-distance relationship and we knew it would be this way from the start, but up until now we were in the same country! Which is why I'll return to the UK at the beginning of June to spend 9 days as a proper girlfriend, before I return to Germany once again. He'll visit me in July, though, so it's all good. And although we've spent 3 weeks apart before, it will be strange, I guess. I'll be one hour ahead and unfortunately international calls have the tendency to be quite expensive.
